How do I size the F30i?
The F30i pairs a frame size with a cushion size. Cushion sizes range from Small Wide to Large. Download the official ResMed sizing template and print at 100 percent. The cushion should sit just under the nose, not past the lower lip. Choose the frame based on head height: S or M-L.
Does the F30i suit side or stomach sleepers?
Yes, that is precisely the target audience. The top-of-head connection keeps tubing away from the pillow. You can sleep on your side, on your stomach or rotate between positions without tugging the mask. The compact under-the-nose cushion also rubs less on the pillow than a cushion that covers the nasal bridge.
Is the F30i compatible with the AirMini?
No, the AirFit F30i is not compatible with the ResMed AirMini. For travel with the AirMini, choose the AirFit F20 or AirTouch F20 with their dedicated setup pack. For home CPAP machines with a classic 22 mm fitting, the F30i works without issue.
Does the F30i contain magnets?
Yes, magnetic clips connect the headgear to the frame. Keep the magnets at least 50 mm away from any pacemaker, implantable defibrillator or cochlear implant. ResMed offers a magnet-free F30i for affected patients. Otherwise, the magnetic clips greatly simplify putting on and removing the mask.
