This Privacy Policy explains how VivaRespire processes your personal data when you browse the website, create an account, place an order, use the chat, contact support, or subscribe to the newsletter.

2) Personal data we process

Depending on how you use the website, we may process in particular:

  • Customer account : first name, last name, login details, saved addresses
  • Contact details : email, phone number, billing and delivery address
  • Orders : products, quantities, amounts, status, history, invoices
  • Payment : payment is handled by a payment provider. We do not store your card details. We may receive transaction tracking information (e.g., status, transaction ID).
  • Support / after-sales : content of your requests (form/email) and related follow-up exchanges
  • Newsletter (if you opt in) : email address and communication preferences
  • Chat (if you enable it) : message content and technical data necessary to operate the service
  • Technical data : security logs and connection/usage data required to run and protect the website

Sensitive data (health): we do not request and do not wish to process sensitive medical data. Please avoid sharing health information in free-text fields. If you send such information, it will be processed only to respond to your request and in a limited manner.

3) Purposes and legal bases

  • Create and manage your account (legal basis: performance of a contract / pre-contractual steps)
  • Process your orders: preparation, invoicing, delivery, returns/support (legal basis: performance of a contract)
  • Process payments (legal basis: performance of a contract)
  • Answer your requests (legal basis: legitimate interest and/or pre-contractual steps depending on the case)
  • Comply with legal obligations: accounting, tax, invoicing (legal basis: legal obligation)
  • Website security and anti-spam (legal basis: legitimate interest — prevention of abuse)
  • Newsletter (legal basis: consent — you can unsubscribe at any time)
  • Chat (tawk.to) (legal basis: consent — the chat is enabled only after your explicit choice)
  • Audience measurement (legal basis: legitimate interest and/or consent depending on the technologies used — see section 7)

4) Data recipients

We share your data only when necessary, with:

  • E-commerce platform : PrestaShop (store operation)
  • Payment provider : depending on the selected payment method (transaction processing)
  • Delivery : DPD Business (shipping, tracking, delivery)
  • Hosting / IT : hosting provider and technical service providers (maintenance, security, backups)
  • Audience measurement : Plausible Analytics and Ahrefs Web Analytics (see section 7)
  • Chat : tawk.to (only if you enable it)
  • Anti-spam security : Google reCAPTCHA (form protection)

We never sell your data.

5) Transfers outside the EEA

Some providers (e.g., services operated by international companies) may process data outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Where applicable, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to provide a level of protection compliant with the GDPR.

6) Retention periods

  • Customer account : while the account is active, then deletion/anonymisation after a period of inactivity (e.g., 3 years), unless a legal obligation requires longer retention.
  • Orders & invoices : retained according to applicable accounting and tax legal obligations.
  • Support / after-sales : for the time needed to handle the request, then limited retention for follow-up purposes.
  • Newsletter : until you withdraw your consent (unsubscribe).
  • Technical logs : limited retention for security and diagnostics.

7) Audience measurement (Plausible & Ahrefs)

We use Plausible Analytics and Ahrefs Web Analytics to understand overall website usage and improve it. These tools were chosen because they can be configured to operate without cookies and with limited data collection.

This section may be updated if the tools or their configuration changes.

8) Cookies, reCAPTCHA, Google Fonts and chat

  • Cookies / trackers : for details, please read our Cookie Policy.
  • reCAPTCHA : used to protect certain forms against spam and abuse.
  • Google Fonts : the theme may load fonts to ensure the website’s appearance; this may involve technical requests to Google when pages are displayed.
  • tawk.to : the chat is enabled only after your explicit consent via the choice window.

9) Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and object to processing, and to data portability (where applicable), as well as the right to withdraw consent at any time for consent-based processing.

To exercise your rights: contact@vivarespire.com. For security reasons, we may request proof of identity if necessary.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority in Belgium.

10) Security

We implement reasonable technical and organisational security measures to protect your data (restricted access, HTTPS encryption, backups, etc.).

11) Updates

We may update this policy to reflect changes to the website, the tools used, or legal requirements.
