Accessory packs
Accessories that belong together, bundled to avoid compatibility mistakes.
Our catalog Accessory packs
The commonest mistake in CPAP is not picking the wrong device: it is ordering an accessory that does not fit it. An AirSense 10 humidifier chamber does not clip onto an AirSense 11. A ClimateLineAir heated tube does not connect to the next generation. Nothing breaks, but the part stays in its box and you start again.
These bundles exist for that. They bring together items ResMed designed to work together, in a single shipment, and at a price below buying them separately. The discount is secondary: what you are buying is the certainty that it all fits.
Two families, two situations
You do not have a device yet. The complete bundles contain the device already fitted with its humidifier and heated tube:
- Complete AirSense 11 AutoSet bundle: the device in its self-adjusting version, which adapts the pressure night by night, with chamber and heated tube.
- Complete AirSense 11 Elite bundle: the same equipment in the fixed pressure version, for a single-pressure prescription.
You already have the device, bought without humidification, and the dry air is bothering you. The Climate Control bundles add the two parts that belong together, in the right generation:
- Climate Control 11 bundle: HumidAir 11 chamber and ClimateLineAir 11 tube, for an AirSense 11.
- Climate Control 10 bundle: chamber and ClimateLineAir tube, for an AirSense 10 or an AirCurve 10.
The generation is the whole point
That is the trap these bundles close. Between the AirSense 10 and the AirSense 11, ResMed redesigned both parts:
- The chamber: the clip, the seal and the dimensions all differ. The HumidAir II and the HumidAir 11 are not interchangeable.
- The heated tube: the connector is specific to each generation. The ClimateLineAir 11 is the only heated tube compatible with the AirSense 11.
Turn your device over, the model is written underneath. That is the only check to make before ordering, and it takes ten seconds.
Why add humidification
Because pressurised air dries out the airway lining. Nasal dryness, a sore throat on waking and nosebleeds are the complaints most reported at the start of therapy, and humidification is the direct answer to all three. The heated tube completes the setup: it holds the air at temperature all the way to the mask, which removes the condensation in the tube known as rainout, and lets you raise the humidity without paying for it in droplets at dawn. Its temperature is adjustable from 16 to 30 °C.
For the detail of the settings and the care, see the humidifiers and the tubes.
And if you are starting from nothing
Then you are also missing a mask, and that is what the Starter Kits are for: device, humidification and a mask in every size, in one order. The bundles on this page are for someone who has already settled the mask question.
Frequently asked questions about accessory bundles
Look underneath the device: the exact model is printed there. An AirSense 11 takes the Climate Control 11 bundle. An AirSense 10 or AirCurve 10 takes the Climate Control 10 bundle. "ResMed" on its own is not enough to decide: it is the generation number that counts, because the chamber clip and the tube connector changed between the two.
It is the pressure mode. The AutoSet adjusts the pressure continuously, within a range, according to what it measures during the night. The Elite delivers one fixed pressure, the one prescribed. Everything else is identical, humidifier and tube included. Follow your prescription: if it states a single pressure, the Elite matches it; if it states a range, the AutoSet does.
Yes, and the gap is shown on each product page. But the real gain is elsewhere: you cannot order the right brand of chamber in the wrong generation. That is the most frequent mistake with CPAP accessories, and it costs a round trip.
Yes, and that is exactly what the Climate Control bundles are for. The AirSense works very well without humidification, on its standard tube. Plenty of patients start that way, then add the chamber and the heated tube a few weeks later, once they notice the air is drying their nose. It fits straight on, with no tools and no adapter.
As soon as you turn the humidification up, yes. Without it, the humid air cools as it crosses the tube and condenses: you find water in the mask on waking, which is rainout. The fixes that avoid a heated tube amount to lowering the humidity or heating the bedroom, in other words giving up what you were after. The heated tube holds the air at temperature all the way to the mask and solves it at source.
Of course. A bundle is only an assembly at the point of purchase: after that, every part lives its own life. The chamber is replaced when it turns cloudy or the seal leaks, the tube every six to twelve months. You reorder them individually from the humidifiers and the tubes, without buying another bundle.
No. The bundles on this page stop at the device and its circuit. The mask is a personal choice, tied to your face and to how you breathe at night: it has no place in a fixed assembly. If you want everything in one order, mask included, that is what the Starter Kits are for. And if you do not know your size, the Fit Packs.
The instruction differs by generation, and it matters. On the AirSense 10, ResMed asks for distilled water only. On the AirSense 11, three waters are accepted: tap water boiled then cooled, distilled water, or bottled water low in minerals. In both cases, no non-sterile demineralised household water. The detail is on the humidifiers page.
