Yes, magnetic clips connect the headgear to the frame. Keep the magnets at least 50 mm away from any pacemaker, implantable defibrillator or cochlear implant. ResMed offers a magnet-free F30i for affected patients. Otherwise, the magnetic clips greatly simplify putting on and removing the mask.
