An auto-adjusting CPAP, connected to your phone

The Löwenstein Medical prisma SMART plus is an auto-adjusting CPAP (autoCPAP). It adjusts the pressure continuously, within the limits set according to your prescription, to keep your airway open. It also works at a fixed pressure.

Its built-in Bluetooth module connects it to the free prisma APP, so you can follow your therapy nights on your phone.

SMART plus or SMART max?

Both devices deliver exactly the same therapy. The max version adds a mobile modem and an airplane mode, which are useful when a care provider monitors the patient remotely. For a patient who manages their own therapy, the Bluetooth of the plus version is enough.

Everyday comfort

• softPAP: the device briefly lowers the pressure before you breathe out, for patients who find exhaling against the pressure uncomfortable
• softSTART: the pressure rises gradually while you fall asleep, adjustable from 5 to 45 minutes
• autoSTART: therapy starts with your first breath into the mask and stops on its own when you take it off
• Quiet: about 26 dB(A) at 10 hPa

Detection of breathing events

In automatic mode, two dynamic options set how quickly the pressure reacts. The device detects apnoeas, hypopnoeas, flow limitations, snoring and periodic breathing, and tells obstructive apnoeas from central apnoeas using the forced oscillation technique (FOT).
