ResMed AirFit N30i Fit Pack: all four sizes, at home

The N30i sits under the nose, with nothing on the nasal bridge, and its tube runs over the top of the head. It is the mask for stomach sleepers and for those who want to read before falling asleep. But its cushion comes in four sizes, which is exactly one too many to guess right.

This Fit Pack gives you all of them: the mask arrives fitted with the medium cushion, plus the S, SW and Wide ones. You try them during real nights and keep the one that does not leak.

S, SW, M, Wide: what they mean

The letters do not describe the same thing. S and M vary nose height, SW and Wide vary nose width. A short, wide nose needs an SW, not an S. That is why trying beats a printed gauge: ResMed even colour codes these sizes on the cushion, red for S, purple for SW, blue for M.

Changing size takes three seconds

The cushion unclips from the frame by hand, with no tool. The headgear stays adjusted, so you do not redo your fitting at every try.

What comes next

A cushion lasts 1 to 3 months in daily use. Once you know your size, you only reorder the AirFit N30i nasal cushion in that size.
