The HumidX F20 is the humidification cartridge of the AirMini, in the version made for F20 series full face masks. It captures the warmth and moisture of the air you breathe out and gives them back on the next breath in. No water, no tank, nothing to plug in.

It is not the same cartridge as the standard HumidX, which fits nasal and nasal pillows masks. Available in packs of 3 or 6.

For obvious hygiene reasons, any item that has been unboxed and/or used cannot be returned or exchanged.

Why a cartridge specific to the F20

The AirMini has no water tank. Its humidification runs through a small cartridge placed in the mask connector. The airflow and the volume of a full face mask are not those of a nasal mask, so ResMed made a cartridge dedicated to the F20 series.

The principle stays the same. On the breath out, the cartridge holds back the warmth and moisture of your breath. On the breath in, it gives them back to the incoming air. Nothing to fill, nothing to empty.

Compatibility

HumidX F20 is used with the AirMini and a full face mask from the F20 series, AirFit F20 or AirTouch F20. For a nasal or nasal pillows mask you need the HumidX or the HumidX Plus, which are different cartridges.

Which pack size

The cartridge is a consumable and is replaced regularly. The pack of 6 costs less per unit, so take it if you travel often with your AirMini. The pack of 3 suits occasional use.
