The SomnoFit is made of two mouthpieces, one upper and one lower. You soften them in hot water and bite down to take the impression of your own teeth. Once cool, they are yours.

A strip joins the two and sets how far the lower jaw comes forward. That advancement of a few millimetres clears the back of the tongue and frees the airway. Six strips of different lengths are supplied, so you can adjust it millimetre by millimetre.

Swiss made. Supplied with a water temperature indicator and a ventilated case.

Moulding, how it works

You dip the device in hot water as the leaflet says, place it in your mouth and press gently to take the impression. You let it cool, and it is ready. A water temperature indicator is supplied, because water that is too hot damages the material.

Contraindications

Do not use in case of:
A removable denture, or a partial denture that does not hold well
Pain in the jaw joint
Receding gums or unstable teeth
Fewer than 10 teeth on the upper or lower jaw
A user under 18 years old
