The HumidAir™ II Cleanable heated humidifier from ResMed is designed to enhance comfort during sleep apnea therapy. It fits seamlessly with AirSense 10 CPAP devices.
This humidifier helps add moisture to the therapy air, reducing dryness in the nose, mouth and airways — one of the most common complaints among CPAP users.
Smart and comfortable humidification
When attached to an AirSense 10, the HumidAir™ II is automatically detected by the machine. It adjusts humidity levels to provide a more comfortable and tolerable experience throughout the night.
Humidity can be:
- set automatically via Climate Control
- adjusted manually based on user preference
Climate Control compatibility
Paired with the ClimateLineAir™ heated tube, HumidAir™ II maintains consistent air temperature and humidity, reducing rainout (condensation) inside the breathing circuit.
Cleanable design
This version features a cleanable water tub for easy maintenance:
- simple disassembly
- washable by hand with mild detergent
- top rack dishwasher-safe (up to 65°C)

The HumidAir II Cleanable fits ResMed AirSense 10 (all versions: Elite, AutoSet, AutoSet for Her) and AirCurve 10 devices. It is not compatible with AirSense 11, which uses the HumidAir 11. Verify your model before purchase.
The Cleanable chamber fully disassembles and is dishwasher safe, so it lasts several years. The Standard version is hand-wash only, with a shorter lifespan. Cleanable is the durable and hygienic option we recommend.
With proper care, expect a lifespan of 12 to 18 months. Replace the chamber if you see cracks, embedded scale, black spots (mould) or persistent odours. Hard water speeds up wear: prefer distilled water for best results.
Empty the chamber every morning and rinse with clean water. Once a week, disassemble and wash parts with mild detergent. The Cleanable version is dishwasher safe (top rack, max 65°C). Disinfect monthly with a white vinegar and water solution (1:1).
Distilled water is strongly recommended: no scale, no minerals, no premature wear. Tap water is tolerated if you have no alternative, but it leaves limestone deposits that shorten chamber life and may affect air quality.
Lift the front cover of your AirSense 10. Slide the HumidAir II in from the front until it clicks. The machine automatically detects the humidifier and activates the humidification menu. Fill with distilled water to MAX level before each night.
Not mandatory, but very useful against nasal dryness, dry mouth on waking and congestion. Most CPAP patients consider it essential. Paired with the ClimateLineAir tube, it activates the Climate Control feature for maximum comfort.
