ClimateLineAir™ Heated Tubing for ResMed AirSense 10
The ClimateLineAir™ heated tube is designed by ResMed to optimize humidification and thermal comfort during sleep apnea therapy with AirSense 10 and AirCurve 10 devices.
Its integrated heating system helps maintain a consistent temperature of humidified air between the device and the mask. This significantly reduces condensation inside the tube (commonly known as “rainout”), which can cause discomfort and nighttime awakenings.
Enhanced breathing comfort
When used with the HumidAir™ humidifier, the ClimateLineAir™ tubing enables the Climate Control feature. This system automatically regulates air temperature and relative humidity to help prevent nasal and oral dryness throughout the night.
Two adjustment modes are available:
- Auto mode: automatic temperature and humidity regulation for optimal comfort
- Manual mode: customized settings based on personal preference

Frequently asked questions
The original ClimateLineAir fits ResMed AirSense 10 (Elite, AutoSet, AutoSet for Her) and AirCurve 10. It is not compatible with AirSense 11 (use the ClimateLineAir 11) nor with older S9 units. The electrical connector is specific to each generation.
A standard tube only carries air. A heated tube includes a heating element that maintains air temperature between humidifier and mask. Result: less condensation, fewer water droplets, and constant-temperature air all night long.
Inspect your tube monthly. Replace it if you spot cracks, holes, yellowing or persistent odour after cleaning. In normal use, plan a replacement every 6 to 12 months. A damaged tube creates leaks and distorts therapeutic pressure.
Once a week, wash with warm water and mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly and hang the tube to air dry. Do not use a dishwasher, washing machine or boiling water: the internal heating element would be damaged.
The heated tube solves the rainout problem: those water droplets forming inside the tube and reaching your mask. It also improves comfort by avoiding cold air on your face, especially in winter or when sleeping in a cool bedroom.
The ClimateLineAir also works without a humidifier, but its full benefit comes with the HumidAir humidifier and Climate Control. The machine then automatically adjusts temperature and humidity for optimal comfort night after night.
The ClimateLineAir is 2 meters long with a 15 mm diameter. This length lets you place the CPAP on the bedside table without excessive pull on the mask when you move during sleep.
