The silicone cushion should be replaced every 3 to 6 months depending on use and care. The headgear typically lasts 6 to 12 months before losing elasticity. If you notice persistent leaks or unusual red marks, check the cushion first. Regular replacement keeps therapy effective.

Wash the cushion daily with warm soapy water, then rinse and air-dry. Clean the headgear and frame once a week. Avoid hot water, harsh detergents and essential oils, which damage the silicone. Do not use a dishwasher. Regular cleaning limits skin irritation and extends the lifespan of the mask.
