The AirFit F20 comes in Small, Medium and Large. Download the official ResMed sizing template, print at 100 percent and place it against your face. Measure the width at the nasal bridge and the height from the base of the nose to the bottom of the chin. Size M suits most adults. Avoid an oversized cushion, which causes leaks.

This mask suits mouth breathers, patients with frequent nasal congestion, and those needing high-pressure therapy. The InfinitySeal cushion tolerates higher pressures without losing the seal. It is also a good first-time CPAP mask, easy to fit thanks to magnetic clips.

The magnetic clips automatically guide the headgear into the frame. You simply bring the headgear ends close to the mask and the magnets pull them into the correct position. You can fit or remove the mask in seconds without disturbing the strap settings. Note: a magnet-free version exists for patients with pacemakers or cochlear implants.

The standard elbow vents exhaled air through classic vent holes. The QuietAir elbow uses a diffusing membrane that spreads air over a larger area. The result is a softer flow and a noise level reduced by around 89 percent according to ResMed. QuietAir is recommended if your bed partner is sensitive to noise.

Replace the silicone cushion every 3 to 6 months depending on perspiration and daily cleaning. The headgear lasts 6 to 12 months. Replace the cushion as soon as you notice persistent leaks, loss of elasticity or new red marks. A worn cushion compromises the seal and the effectiveness of your CPAP therapy.

Yes, with an adapter. The AirFit F20 works directly with any CPAP using a 22 mm standard connection. To use it with the ResMed AirMini, you must buy the F20 setup pack, sold separately. Without this adapter, the AirMini will not deliver the correct pressure to the mask.
