Fisher & Paykel Eson 2 – Nasal CPAP Mask

The F&P Eson 2 RollFit cushion is designed to gently roll on the nasal bridge. This automatic movement distributes pressure and maintains seal even when you move. It is one of F&P's signature features: a cushion that follows the face rather than pressing on it. Result: fewer red marks and fewer leak-related wake-ups.

The Eson 2 comes in three sizes: Small, Medium and Large. Fisher & Paykel provides a printable template to measure nose width and height. As a rule, Medium fits most adult men, Small fits women and finer faces, Large fits wider faces. A single Easy Frame fits all three cushion sizes.

The Eson 2 washable diffuser is a textile part placed in front of the exhalation ports. It gently diffuses exhaled air to reduce noise and limit disturbing airflow toward your partner. Unlike a disposable diffuser, it is washed regularly in warm soapy water. Replace it if it yellows or loses elasticity.

VisiBlue cues are blue markings on the main mask components (cushion, frame, elbow). They serve as visual guides to orient, disassemble and reassemble the mask easily, particularly upon waking or in low light. A simple detail that smooths daily care and limits reassembly mistakes.

The Eson 2 uses a standard 22 mm connector and works with all CPAPs on the market: AirSense 10, AirSense 11, DreamStation 2, Loewenstein Prisma, Fisher & Paykel SleepStyle. It is compatible with standard CPAP tubing and heated tubing (humidification). It is not compatible with the ResMed AirMini, which requires a proprietary connector.

The Eson 2 is a pure nasal mask. Mouth breathing reduces treatment efficacy because therapy air escapes through the mouth. A CPAP chin strap may be enough in mild cases. For marked and regular mouth breathing, a full face mask like the Fisher & Paykel Vitera or Simplus is better. Talk to your sleep physician.
