The Vitera comes in Small, Medium and Large. Download the official Fisher and Paykel sizing template, print at 100 percent and place it against your face. Measure width at the nasal bridge and height from nose to chin. Size M fits most adults. When between two sizes, go for the smaller one to limit leaks.
The RollFit XT cushion gently slides back and forth on the nasal bridge. When you turn your head or change position, the cushion adapts without breaking the seal. This reduces nasal bridge pressure and limits eye leaks. Fisher and Paykel reports 93 percent more movement compared to the previous generation.
Yes, within reason. The VentiCool fabric is inspired by sports textiles. It allows airflow and wicks away moisture. You sweat less under the headgear than with a solid headgear. For hot sleepers or warm seasons, comfort is real. It does not replace a cool bedroom but the difference is noticeable.
No. The Vitera is fully magnet-free, like all recent Fisher and Paykel masks. Reassuring if you have a pacemaker, an implantable defibrillator, a cochlear implant or a neurosurgical shunt. The headgear attaches via mechanical clips, with no minimum distance to active medical devices.
The Vitera works with any CPAP or BiPAP machine using a 22 mm standard fitting. This includes Fisher and Paykel SleepStyle, ResMed AirSense 10 and 11, Philips DreamStation 1 and 2 and Loewenstein Prisma. It is not compatible with the ResMed AirMini, which uses a proprietary mask system.
Wash the cushion daily with warm water and a mild unscented soap. Rinse with clean water and air-dry away from direct sunlight. The VentiCool headgear and the frame are hand-washed once a week. Avoid hot water, harsh detergents and the dishwasher, which damage the materials.
