RIZIV-accredited sleep centres in Belgium

In Belgium, sleep centres must be accredited by RIZIV/INAMI to provide reimbursed sleep studies. Accredited centres are available in Flanders, Brussels and Wallonia. Your general practitioner is the first point of contact for a referral to the appropriate centre.

The Netherlands: a different system

In the Netherlands, CPAP is reimbursed through the basic health insurance (zorgverzekering) - this is a real reimbursement, unlike Belgium where the device is provided on loan.
