The prisma SMART is an auto-adjusting CPAP (APAP) that adapts pressure continuously from 4 to 20 cm H₂O based on your breathing. The prisma SOFT delivers a constant fixed pressure. The SMART suits patients whose optimal pressure varies by position or sleep phase. The SOFT fits if you are already stabilised on a known fixed pressure.

No. The pack contains the device, tubing, power supply, two pollen filters, SD card, travel bag, and user manual. The CPAP mask must be chosen separately. The heated prismaAQUA humidifier is optional and clips directly onto the device. It is recommended if you suffer from nasal or mouth dryness during therapy.

FOT (Forced Oscillation Technique) sends small pressure oscillations to analyse the nature of respiratory events. The prisma SMART distinguishes obstructive from central apnoeas. For a central event, it avoids unnecessary pressure increases. The device also detects Cheyne-Stokes breathing patterns, an important clinical signal to report to your physician.

The prisma SMART comes with a 2-year Löwenstein Medical manufacturer warranty on the device. Accessories (tubing, filters) follow their own terms based on normal wear.
