Integrated humidifier
The HumidifierOne chamber is dishwasher-safe. Designed to prevent bacterial growth and requires only weekly cleaning.
The DreamMapper App

Frequently asked questions about the Philips DreamStation 2
No. The 2021 safety recall targeted the first generation (DreamStation 1) due to its PE-PUR sound-abatement foam. The DreamStation 2 was redesigned with a different silicone foam and is not affected by that recall. It is Philips' post-recall device, certified safe and authorised for sale.
Yes, the DreamStation 2 Auto is available for direct purchase in Belgium at VivaRespire, outside the INAMI convention. You order online, receive it quickly at home and own it for life. See the product page: Philips DreamStation 2 Auto. For patients under the RIZIV convention, the device is supplied by the sleep centre.
DreamMapper offers the same essentials as myAir: nightly score, usage duration, residual AHI and leaks. The myAir interface is generally perceived as more modern and motivating (gamification, notifications), while DreamMapper is more sober but shows usable data. For deeper analysis, OSCAR works equally well with both devices. See our guide OSCAR CPAP software.
Yes, the DreamStation 2 features automatic altitude compensation up to roughly 2 286 m (7 500 ft), like most modern CPAPs. At higher altitude (above 3 000 m), check the manual: a specific mode or medical adjustment may be needed. For mountain travel it is an excellent choice.
The DreamStation 2 uses a standard 22 mm tube connection, compatible with almost every mask on the market: ResMed AirFit P10, F20, F40, Fisher & Paykel Evora, Philips DreamWear. You are not locked into a single ecosystem. The DreamStation 2 heated tube (15C/15H) is, however, specific to this device. To pick a mask, see our CPAP mask guide.
Both devices are very quiet: 26-27 dB(A) for the DreamStation 2 and around 27 dB(A) for the AirSense 11, equivalent to a whisper. The difference is imperceptible. Perceived noise depends more on mask seal than on the motor. To reduce noise further, eliminate leaks and use a heated tube which limits whistling.
